Educational visit to Danaos Shipping

Students of the Department of Maritime Studies of the University of Piraeus made an educational visit to Danaos Shipping Co. Ltd. on Thursday, May 7, as part of the course “Organization and Management of Shipping Businesses”.

During the perfectly organized visit, the students of the Department attended presentations by senior executives of Danaos Shipping. They learned about the history, development, organization and management of the company, while discussing with them career prospects in shipping.

We extend warm thanks to the company’s Vice Chairman Iraklis Prokopakis, Human Resources Director Dimitris Vasalakis, Crew Director Christos Sialakoumas and HR Professional Argyroula Papageorgiou for organizing the visit, welcoming us and providing their hospitality.
