Jean Monnet Chair in European Port PoIicy Celebrated Europe Day with Educational Visiti ‘’We are Europe’’

The Jean Monnet Chair in European Port Policy (JMC-EPP) celebrated Europe Day (9 May) with an educational event at a local high school. On Friday, 8 May, the Chair holder, Professor Athanasios Pallis, together with the Chair’s team PhD Candidate Andreas Hadjikofinas and PhD Candidate Virginia Zarakeli, visited the 3rd Senior High School of Piraeus , where they organized an educational meeting with the students entitled: “We are Europe”.

Students and teachers had the opportunity to attend presentations on the fundamental values and work of the European Union and participate in interactive activities, aimed at familiarizing them with European Integration and its core principles.

The initiative forms part of the Chair’s ongoing efforts to strengthen knowledge and encourage the active participation of young people in European affairs.
