In the third semester, students select one of the following pathways:
Available to up to 25 students based on overall academic performance, upon recommendation of the Coordinating Committee.
It lasts 3 months at a company in the sector, with all costs covered by the MSc programme.
Objectives:
Upon completion, students submit a placement report. The grade is included in the overall MSc average.
Consists of two components:
Empirical, theoretical or applied research on a cutting-edge industry topic. Requires originality, critical thinking and research capability.
Four courses (4 × 4 ECTS) distributed across two periods, with a specialisation choice in Period B.
Consists exclusively of specialisation courses distributed across two periods.
Common compulsory specialisation courses for all students in this pathway.
Selection of courses from the available specialisation tracks (Shipping or Ports & Combined Transport).
