Three Professors of The Department of Maritime Studies featured in the list of 2% world’s top-cited scientists
Three Professors of the Department are included in the top 2% of the most cited scientists around the globe for the year 2024. Specifically, the list includes Professor Pantouvakis Angelos, Professor Pallis Thanos and Associate Professor Artikis Alexandros. The Stanford/Elsevier Top 2% Scientists List ranks scientists according to their scientific impact, using indicators such as the citations of their scientific work in their field of expertise.
