Participation of the Department in the Global Shipping Think Tank Alliance
The Department of Maritime Studies of the University of Piraeus is pleased to announce its participation in the Global Shipping Think Tank Alliance (GSTTA). In this context, Professor Ioannis Theotokas, Head of the Department, participated in the 9th Plenary Meeting of the Alliance, held in Naples from July 2nd to 4th, representing the Department. During the meeting, he delivered a speech entitled “Investments in Bulk Shipping: Approaches to Sustainability and Profitability.”
Participation in the GSTTA marks a significant step in the Department’s ongoing efforts to deepen international collaborations and promote outward-looking initiatives, with the aim of advancing research in maritime transport.
