Memorandum of Understanding for cooperation among educational and professional institutions in Piraeus
On March 2019, representatives of educational and professional institutions in Piraeus signed a Memorandum of Understanding for Cooperation for Research, Innovation and Training in Freight Transport and Supply Chain. Specifically, the University of Piraeus, the Hellenic Institute of Transport (HIT) of the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH) and the Institute of Port Training EXANTAS agreed to cooperate and sign a memorandum of understanding for cooperation aiming at the implementation of new and innovative management methods of the Piraeus maritime cluster. Also, they have committed themselves to explore financing opportunities using national and European funds.
