Educational visit to Samos

The MSc in Shipping participated in the Thematic Dialogue entitled: “Insularity and Sustainable Blue Economy: Towards an Insular Cohesion Policy and the role of EU funding” and in accompanying Actions during the period 21-23/6/2022 in Samos, Fournoi and Thymaina, which were organized by the General Secretariat of the Aegean and Insular Policy, in collaboration with the PA Staff Structure of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Insular Policy, in the context of the consultation of the National Strategy for the Integrated Maritime Policy in the Insular Area and the process of specialization of actions for the insular area in the context of PA 2021-2027. The Action involved entities shaping public policies, but also managing EU resources, as well as representatives of the EU and involved Ministries, Staff Structures and Administrative Authorities related to insularity, integrated maritime policy, maritime transport and infrastructure, as well as representatives of the business and academic/research field as well as postgraduate students of the MSc in Shipping!
