Educational visit to the “Aegean Harmony” tanker

On Tuesday 14 March 2023, we were very pleased to conduct an interesting educational visit to the “Aegean Harmony” tanker, a vessel with a Greek flag and Greek crew members, of the fleet of ARCADIA SHIPMANAGEMENT Co Ltd. of Panagiotis and Giorgos Angelopoulos. The visit was attended by students of the MSc in “Shipping” of the University of Piraeus, led by the Director of the Program Professor Maria Boile as well as Professor Stefanos Chatzinikolaou.

The Master, Officers and all the crew welcomed us, showed us around and accommodated us on the ship. They showed us the main areas, the engine and decks, and briefed us on the procedures that take place on a tanker. We sincerely thank them for their cordiality and kindness, and for the unforgettable experience.
