			Dr. Angelos Kotios is the Chairman of the Department of Tourism Studies, and an International and European Development Relations’ Professor at the Department of International and European Studies, as also a former Rector of the University of Piraeus. He earned his Diploma in Economics from the University of Thessaloniki in 1979, and his PhD in Economics at the University of Tubingen, Germany in 1986. From 1987 to 1990 he was employed at the University of Tubingen as a Research Associate and was appointed as a Special Advisor to the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 1991 to 1993. His research interests include the Economic Crisis, topics on international trade policy, international monetary policy, European Integration and development policy.

			Dr. Evangelos Bekiaris, Mechanical Engineer (NTUA), is the Director of Hellenic Institute of Transport (HIT) of the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH) and Vice-President of CERTH. From 1992 until today, he has participated in 105 Research projects, in 42 of which in the role of Consortium Coordinator.He has been the National Representative of Greece in the European Initiative for Autonomous Vehicles (CCAM) since 2022 and in the "Climate Neutrality & Smart Cities" Initiative of the Horizon Europe Program since 2019. At the same time, he is the President of the European Rail Research Network of Excellence (EURNEX) from 2019.

			Dr Nikos Kagkarakis is a Senior Relationship Manager in the Ship Finance Division of Alpha Bank, having as main role the management of a portfolio of shipping client relationships. He is also a visiting lecturer in various academic institutions, where he teaches ship finance-related modules.
He has published articles in the field of Maritime Economics in international academic journals and has participated in international academic conferences. His research interests focus on the fields of shipping finance, risk management and financial analysis.
Dr Kagkarakis holds a PhD in Maritime Economics from the Department of Maritime Studies of the University of Piraeus, an MSc in Shipping from the same University and a BSc in Accounting and Finance from the Athens University of Economics and Business. He is also a CFA charterholder and an active member of the CFA Institute and the Hellenic CFA Society.

			Nicholas Rodopoulos (M.Sc.) is President and Managing Director of OnLine Data SA, President of the Hellenic Logistics Association, Member of the National Council for Logistics Development of the Ministry of Economy and Development, President of the Oinofyta Logistics Business Park SA, Scientific Advisor of the Piraeus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (EVEP), Scientific Advisor of the EXANTAS Training Institute, Member of the General Council of the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV), Member of the Attica – Piraeus Federation of Industries (SVAP), Member of the Federation of Hellenic Information technology and Telecommunication Enterprises (SEPE).
He has also served as: Member of the Steering Committee of National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) for the creation of the postgraduate Department “Port Management”, Member of the Steering Committee of Athens University of Economics and Business for the “Executive Program in Logistics Innovation”. He Is also a member of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure working groups as an expert for the implementation of the Logistics Action Plan for “Agrologistics”, “Intelligent Transport Systems”, “Logistics Digitalization”, “Definition of Governance concerning Logistics in the Public Sector”.
He is a writer and has a significant number of articles in the daily and magazine, economic and political press.
