Sustainable as Blue Economy
On May 22 & 28 and June 6, 2024, the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative, the Poseidon Principles for Marine Insurance, and the CPMR will deliver a guest lecture to students, researchers, and professors from the University of the Aegean, the World Maritime University and the University of Piraeus in Greece, as part of Hellenic Hull’s E-sealearning program. The lecture will focus on ESG, Sustainability Economy, Climate Change, IMO’s New Regulations, Marine Insurance, Industry’s Initiatives, EU maritime policies and the challenges faced by island regions, emphasizing the development of a sustainable blue economy. The aim of these lectures is to support ongoing professional development in the maritime sector and address the multiple challenges in maritime areas.
