Εργαστήριο Ολοκληρωμένης Λιμενικής Οικονομίας και Διοίκησης αποτελεί θεσμοθετημένο εργαστήριο της Τμήματος Ναυτιλιακών Σπουδών του Πανεπιστημίου Πειραιώς, σύμφωνα με το ΦΕΚ 47/12-3-2002.

Το Εργαστήριο Ολοκληρωμένης Λιμενικής Οικονομίας και Διοίκησης δραστηριοποιείται ερευνητικά σε ένα πλήθος πεδίων της Λιμενικής Βιομηχανίας.  Η ομάδα έχει να επιδείξει μία σημαντική εμπειρία σε Εθνικά και Ευρωπαϊκά ερευνητικά έργα στο κλάδο των Θαλασσίων Μεταφορών, της Ναυτιλιακής Οικονομίας και της Λιμενικής Βιομηχανίας. Ο κατάλογος δημοσιεύσεων της ερευνητικής ομάδας του εργαστηρίου Ολοκληρωμένης Λιμενικής Οικονομίας και Διοίκησης συμπεριλαμβάνει περισσότερες των 10 μονογραφιών και περισσότερα από 40 άρθρα σε περιοδικά και πρακτικά συνεδρίων με κρίση.

Το εργαστήριο Ολοκληρωμένης Λιμενικής Οικονομίας και Διοίκησης, έχει δική του υποδομή στο Data Center του Πανεπιστημίου, μέσω της οποίας παρέχει το εξ΄ αποστάσεως πρόγραμμα εκπαίδευσης και κατάρτισης στις Ναυτιλιακές σπουδές. Το εργαστήριο φιλοξενείται σε αίθουσα στο 3^ο όροφο του κτηρίου, όπου στεγάζεται το τμήμα Ναυτιλιακών Σπουδών. Στην τρέχουσα μορφή της, η ερευνητική ομάδα του εργαστηρίου Ολοκληρωμένης Λιμενικής Οικονομίας και Διοίκησης αποτελείται από 2 μέλη ΔΕΠ του Πανεπιστημίου Πειραιώς καθώς και δύο μεταδιδακτορικούς ερευνητές, τέσσερεις υποψήφιους διδάκτορες, καθώς και μεγάλο αριθμό μεταπτυχιακών και προπτυχιακών φοιτητών των Τμημάτων Ναυτιλιακών σπουδών.
